Secret Update rolled out by Google on 5th June 2017

Since 5th June 2017, numbers of SEOs and webmasters are experiencing a considerable reshuffle in the ranking of websites. The chatter about a possible algorithms update became loud with the passage of days. On being asked specifically, Google’s John Mueller remarked, ‘we update algorithms all the time’. When the experiences were tracked and analyzed by the advanced automated SEO tools from Mozcast, SERPMetrics, SEMRush etc, the rolling out of new update was confirmed. Almost after 2 months, we are still waiting for the official announcement from Google. The 9.5 score, as you see in the above screenshot, is too high indicating massive changes in ranking.  Another research report from RankRanger confirms that recent algorithm update targeted the websites ranked in 6-10 positions; it means the other websites ranking below the 6th position were hit slowly. Google’s recent algorithm update primarily targeted sites that were ranking in positions 6-10. If we analyze the various reports, the most suffered business websites were from food & beverage, health & fitness, retail, travel and gambling niches respectively.
